Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and help investigate suspicious activity
• Triage incidents, document findings, and escalate issues using established procedures
• Assist with vulnerability scans, remediation tracking, and security control reviews
• Maintain security documentation, dashboards, and incident records
• Support access reviews, phishing investigations, and security awareness activities
• Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to strengthen security practices

Qualifications — Required

• Strong interest in cyber security and a basic understanding of common threats and controls
• Familiarity with networking, operating systems, authentication, and cloud fundamentals
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear written communication
• Ability to follow procedures and handle sensitive information responsibly
• Degree, certification, practical training, or equivalent hands-on experience in cyber security or IT

Qualifications — Preferred

• Familiarity with SIEM, vulnerability scanning, ticketing, or endpoint security tools
• Exposure to frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
• Security+, Network+, or another entry-level security certification
• Lab, internship, project, or help-desk experience related to security
